A Beach Life | Original Paintings

This series of original paintings is ongoing and is inspired by the sense of fun, freedom and relaxation that a good day spent at the beach provides. When I'm at the beach, I love to observe and document the goings on and enjoy the fabulous mix of recreational pastimes and passions that accompany a beachy lifestyle from surfing, sailing, sandcastle making to paddleboarding, walking, and swimming (to name a few). These give me ideas for new paintings and I like to make up little stories about the characters in each piece.
