I’m Emily (my friends call me Em), the artist behind Em x Studio.

I am a mixed media artist exploring the meeting point of memory, experience, and emotion. My work draws inspiration from the beach lifestyle and aerial perspectives, while also embracing impressionism, natural themes and moments of wonder.

My practice is about capturing the feeling of a moment, the joy it brought, or the depth it stirred. Nature, the sea, and gardens are my constant companions and muses.

I formally studied graphic design, decorative arts, horticulture, and garden design, alongside a lifetime of informal creative endeavours. Beyond the canvas, I'm a garden designer and mum to two incredible kids (my greatest creations). My work has been exhibited and collected and I continue to create pieces that invite viewers to remember, dream and feel.
