I'm so happy you found me!

My name is Emily but friends call me Em, the face behind Em x Studio. I started creating art again in 2024 after a long break. I'm an obsessively creative type who loves to be 'doing' and expressing my lived experience through art in it's many forms.

I formally studied graphic design, decorative arts, horticulture and garden design whilst undertaking all sorts of creative endeavours informally. My time is spent working as a garden designer, artist, and Mum to two incredible kids (my greatest creations).

The inspiration I take from the outdoors and discovering new places is endless. Nostalgic memories and feelings strongly influence my work. I'm on a journey to capture the magic in those special moments. My happy places away from the canvas are by the sea, in the garden and close to nature.
