Boats At Porth Nefyn

An original framed painting of the jetty and boats in the harbour at Porth Nefyn in North Wales.

I love the strong diagonal composition of this piece and the relative blandness of the jetty, the soft arch of smooth, pale sand contrasted with the detail of cute boats at anchor, bobbing in the turquoise water. The sunny tones and a glimpse of the seabed beneath add a bit of magic to this little square of summer.
