" The stroll down the grassy headland to this secluded beach is picturesque in the extreme with views of Bardsey Island and expansive turquoise ocean spread out in front. In the spring, foxgloves and gorse line the footpath which runs parallel to a babbling freshwater spring. At the bottom a surprise waterfall, cascading down the cliff face evokes feelings of magical lands. Giant black boulders, smoothed into abstract forms by the sea and peppered with barnacles look like sleeping seals. Oval pebbles in blue, grey, pink, white and tan carpet the top of the beach and when the tide is out, rockpools are unveiled; secret worlds full of anemones, sea snails and shrimps. A sheen of smooth velvety sand leads invitingly to the sparkling aquamarine sea.  It is perhaps my favourite beach on the Llŷn."
