"Brutal, beautiful and wild! Hell's Mouth is one of my favourite places on the Llŷn Peninsula. Vast shelves of sand dunes swamped with windswept Marram grass and epic waves crashing in from the Atlantic make it a truly invigorating experience where only the bravest surfers challenge the turbulent swell. On calmer days the endless pebbles, flotsam and jetsam washed up by the sparkling sea make for interesting beach combing, and there are few things nicer than an evening spent around a driftwood beach fire watching the sunset."
