Morfa Miles, Tŷ Coch Smiles

An original framed painting of Porthdinllaen in North Wales, accessible by beach or boat.

This piece captures the joy from one of my favourite holiday walks. Across the beach from Morfa Nefyn to Porthdinllaen, where we stop at the Tŷ Coch Inn for a cheeky beer and a plate of nachos whilst sat on the sand. The turquoise water glimmers beside the path, looking positively Mediterranean, fishing boats and watercraft bob gently in the bay, and laughter drifts on the air. After lunch, we carry on along the coastal path with the sea stretching out below, a little sunbathing before diving in for a swim off the lifeboat beach. Then it’s the slow wander back, sun-warmed, salt-skinned, and smiling all the way!
