Sunset Lover | Original Paintings

This series of impactful textured canvases were painted to capture my everlasting love of sunsets and the romanticised thoughts that pop into my head when staring into them. The spectacular vibrancy of mesmerising colours that change every second can never be truly captured on camera so only a painting can attempt to communicate the fierce beauty of a spectacular sunset. I used the amazing pigments of Perinone and Cadmium Orange to achieve that almost fluorescent vibrancy. The bright orange is balanced with soft pastel pinks and blues making for a striking combination accented with streaks of oil pastel and intriguing 3D texture.
